Technical Writing Consultants was created in 1983 as a sole proprietorship by Ed Stiltner. He founded TWC at a time when many organizations were beginning to outsource technical publications work. Ed saw a need for a company that could serve as a contractor for those organizations making the transition from in-house to outsourced resources. The company has steadily grown over the years, and after partnering with Ingenium Testing in January 2008, TWC is now staffed with full-time employees as well as numerous contracted employees. This strategic partnership has also allowed us to upgrade our equipment and software to better serve our clients. Together, we are able to offer a more complete testing experience for our customers.
We have worked with many high-profile clients; namely in the military, aerospace, commercial, agricultural, and medical industries. Some of our recent projects include technical documents for the Boeing 787, the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, and the GE Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Console.
